Godrej Disha Excellence Centre
India’s employability has risen somewhat to 46.2 percent from 45.97 percent this year, according to the India Skill Report 2022. Godrej Appliances is attempting to close the skill gap through Godrej Disha by providing high-quality vocational training in conjunction with recognized training institutes, allowing our underprivileged young to work as appliance service technicians.
“Our industry is undergoing significant changes, and companies are investing to provide a smooth customer experience,” said Mr. Arnab Bagchi, Sr. Vice President – Service, Godrej Appliances. Skilled technicians are one of the most important resources on this path. Excellence Centers will be critical in closing the skills gap and providing qualified technicians to the sector. As a responsible corporation, we launched these linked programmes in partnership with trustworthy partners, with the goal of providing kids with quality hands-on training that will prepare them for employment.
“Equipping the kids with skills that might help them become employed is a significant priority in our country,” says Mr. Ravi Pratap Singh, IITM Murthal’s Training and Placement Officer. We are honoured to be affiliated with such a reputable company like Godrej. Apart from our students, the collaboration will greatly assist economically and socially disadvantaged adolescents, empowering them via the development of industry-relevant skills that will lead to employment, entrepreneurship, or community business.”
