Amazon India felicitates scholarship achievers for education of kids of delivery associates
Amazon India congratulated the recipients of its Pratidhi Scholarship program, which is intended to help the educational requirements of the children of its delivery employees. The scholarship, which will be available in 2022, is open to all delivery employees in India who are part of the Delivery Service Partner or Amazon Flex programs. Some of the beneficiaries were honored today in Bangalore in the presence of Mrs. K.S. Lathakumari, IAS, Director, Directorate for the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens, Government of Karnataka, and Liju Thomas, HR Director, Operations, Amazon India.
Hundreds of children of delivery associates in grades 2-12 use the scholarship to pay for school fees, extra coaching classes, books and other educational materials, library membership, bus or train tickets, and other expenses.
The Pratidhi Scholarship is part of Amazon India’s commitment to ensuring that the children of its delivery associates have access to high-quality education.

On April 6, 2023, the children of delivery associates who received the Pratidhi Scholarship through Amazon’s Delivery Service Partner and Amazon Flex programs were honored in the presence of Mrs. K.S. Lathakumari, IAS, Director, Directorate for the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens, Government of Karnataka, and Liju Thomas, HR Director, Operations, Amazon India.
Mr. Liju Thomas, HR Director, Operations, Amazon India, commented on the initiative, saying, “We are constantly looking for ways to support our delivery associates, who play a critical role in ensuring a great shopping experience for our customers.” We hope that the Pratidhi Scholarship program will help the children of our delivery associates achieve their academic goals and pursue their dreams with a clear vision. We are dedicated to providing a better future for the families of our delivery associates.”
“I am happy that Amazon is providing this scholarship to help my child continue his education,” Anitha Munivelu, a delivery associate with Amazon’s delivery service partner, said. This scholarship will not only benefit my child’s schooling but will also serve as inspiration for him.
