BYJUS and Anvarat Foundation partner to empower rural girls with education
BYJU’S and Anvarat Foundation have partnered to provide free quality education to young rural girls in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, and Punjab.
The BYJU’s ‘Education for All’ programme has partnered with the Lucknow-based NGO Anvarat Foundation in its efforts to empower and offer poor children across geographies with free education and high-quality digital learning tools. The organisation aspires to make a positive difference in the lives of young girls in rural Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, and Punjab.
The partnership with Anvarat Foundation, which is backed by BYJU’s objective to empower every child with high-quality learning programmes, intends to help rural girls from lower-income homes and will work towards rolling out 5 lakh licences across the four locations in the next five years. In addition, with the help of BYJUS, Anvarat Foundation plans to build smart classroom infrastructure in government schools.

“At BYJU’S, we always try to tear down barriers to education by using the power of technology,” Mansi Kasliwal, VP-Social Initiatives, remarked. We want to provide every child with access to high-quality, digitally enabled learning programmes, as well as tools and opportunities comparable to those available to children from urban and privileged homes. We are delighted to have partnered with Anvarat Foundation, which shares BYJU’S objective of uplifting poor children via skill-based education. This collaboration is an important step forward in our mission to make digital learning more accessible and inclusive.”
“One of the objectives at Anvarat Foundation is to sustainably empower young girls from rural areas in India through skill development and hygiene-nutrition-self-defense training, with a special emphasis on providing them with equal opportunities to learn and grow,” says Shweta Shukla, Founder & Head Implementations. We are excited to work with BYJU’s ‘Education for All’ project, which is a pioneer in the education industry, because it will help us align our efforts to provide a brighter future to thousands of rural girls.”
