Jai Krishna Scholarship for Dseu’s Rajokari Technical Institute’s Students
Jai Krishna Scholarship – New Delhi, India: To commemorate International Women’s Day, the Chetak Foundation, the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm, presented Scholarship Cheques to female students at Rajokari Technical Institute, which is part of the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneur University (DSEU). Chetak Group has previously signed an MoU with DSEU to collaborate on the development of a course curriculum for Logistics and Transportation Courses, as well as to provide scholarships to students studying Road Transport and e-commerce.
Mr. Mukesh Haritash and Mr. Sachin Haritash, Directors, Chetak Group, presented the scholarship cheques to the girl students at DSEU’s Rajokari Technical Institute Campus today, in the presence of DSEU Vice-Chancellor Prof Rehan Khan Suri, Prof Porusu Ramanaiah Campus Director, and Mr. Arun Arora, Director, Chetak Foundation.
“As a follow-up to DSEU’s agreement with Chetak Logistics to work on updating the course structure of Logistics and Transportation courses at DSEU and to boost employability of our students,” says the foundation, “we are thrilled to see Chetak Foundation’s commitment turning into action.”

Our father, Late Shri J K Sharma, provided livelihood possibilities for thousands of individuals and was dedicated to assisting the needy, particularly girls, in society. The Foundation has established the ‘Jai Krishna Scholarship’ to assist students from the Economically Weaker Section in carrying out his goal. Prof. Suri, Campus Director Rajokari Technical Institute, Mr. Porusu Ramanaiah, and their staff for organising the event and moving our vision ahead.” Added he.

Chetak Foundation is working in the logistic domain to improve the quality of life for poor communities by developing customised interventions to improve recipients’ experiences. Oxygen Plus (an environmental project), Sathya Plus (a health and fitness initiative), Shikha Se Rozgaar (an education to employment initiative), and Zindagi Plus are just a few among them (a Road Safety Initiative).
During Covid, the Chetak Foundation received the CSR India Award for Skill Development and the CST Times Award for its Health Initiatives. Thousands of Covid front-line employees received high-quality sanitization kits thanks to the Foundation.
Chetak Foundation has partnered with Vision Spring for its Vision and Road Safety activities, in addition to DSEU. For its health, nutrition, environmental, and road safety programmes, the Foundation has partnered with reputable organisations such as Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi Metro, IoCL, Haryana Government, CRPF, Fortis Healthcare Max Healthcare, and CRPF.
