Dalmia Bharat Foundation launches 14th DIKSHa Centre
The Dalmia Bharat Foundation (DBF), the Dalmia Bharat Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm, has opened its 14th DIKSHa (Dalmia Institute of Knowledge and Skill Harnessing) centre in India, in Rampur Baghelan, Satna district, Madhya Pradesh. Dalmia Bharat Limited also intends to make a large capital investment in this location in order to establish a cement production facility.
The new DIKSHa centre in Satna will focus on community-centered efforts to accomplish social transformation by yearly upskilling 400 kids. Shri Vikram Singh, a member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly, launched the centre and encouraged young people to take advantage of the rising opportunities. Shri Anurag Verma, Satna District Collector, accompanied him and stressed the need of skill development. DBF and Dalmia Cement Bharat Limited representatives were also present to congratulate visitors and highlight planned CSR and company objectives.
At the event, Shri. Vikram Singh, MLA of Madhya Pradesh, remarked, “I truly appreciate the efforts being done by Dalmia Cement to create sustainable livelihood prospects for our youth in Satna.”
Typically, businesses begin operations first and then turn their attention to CSR. In the case of Dalmia Cement, however, they are fully committed to their social reform programmes even before they begin operations. This demonstrates their dedication to us in a powerful way. I am confident that the skills supplied by DIKSHa will empower our country’s youth and assist them in building a better future.”
