Govt school students to get free access to education content in local language
Education content in local language – Forever Living Products India (FLPI) and Forever Giving Foundation today announced a CSR initiative to provide free online access to curriculum-linked educational content to government school students in Maharashtra and Goa, carrying on the legacy and charitable work of their founder, Mr. Rex Maughan. The programme, developed by the Mumbai-based Seva Sahayog Foundation and implemented by ConnectEd Technologies, an EdTech social enterprise, aims to provide quality vernacular educational content to government school students in order to improve learning outcomes, particularly during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Forever Giving Foundation has always prioritized improving the lives of women and children around the world, and as part of this programme, over 10,000 pupils from government schools across Maharashtra and Goa will be given free online access to a web and mobile app platform. The platform provides high-quality education content in local languages that is aligned with State Board curricula and may be accessed online or downloaded to a device for later viewing. Initially, the project will benefit pupils from government schools in Maharashtra’s Raigad district and Goa’s North Goa region. The idea will then be expanded to include students from other regions.
“The Covid-19 pandemic and resulting school closures highlighted the need for a parallel, digital infrastructure via which excellent education might be given to govt. school pupils,” Dr. Kiran Patil (I.A.S.), CEO – Raigad Zilla Parishad, remarked at the launch. It is with great pleasure that I announce this initiative for Raigad’s Zilla Parishad schools. We hope that other organizations will join us in supporting this project and ensuring that it helps all students in Raigad and Maharashtra.”

“The Covid-19 pandemic made India recognize the necessity for a digital approach that makes quality education available to government school pupils in regional languages,” said Lehar Tawde, co-founder of ConnectEd Technologies. We’ve been working toward this goal since 2020, and we’re excited by our partnership with Forever Living Products India (FLPI) and Forever Giving Foundation, which allows us to reach over 10,000 additional students in Maharashtra and Goa. With the help of authorities, FLPI, and other organizations, we intend to expand our presence.”
During the duration of this campaign, ConnectEd Technologies will work with government schools to educate parents and children about the platform, which allows them to access free curriculum-linked instructional content from any device with internet access. Furthermore, the EdTech company will give school teachers with useful statistics on material consumption by each student, allowing them to encourage parents and pupils to reach the school’s learning goals. Currently, ConnectEd Technologies has implemented such programmes in eight Indian states.
