Future Generali India Insurance donates 8500 masks to the BMC
Future Generali India Insurance – Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited is donating 8500 masks to the BMC in order to normalize conversations about mental health and raise awareness about the need of protecting mental and physical well-being. The BMC’s health department will use these masks and deliver them to doctors, on-the-ground personnel, institutional quarantine staff, and workers at airports and railway stations. Each mask will include a message about mental disease prevention as well as encouragement for people who are suffering from mental illness to speak up about their condition.
The BMC has always been on the front lines, protecting the city not only by keeping it clean and habitable but also by organizing the public health infrastructure during pandemics. As a result, they are susceptible to both COVID-19 and mental health problems. As a result, it’s only reasonable that we back them up with similar programs.
“As a responsible insurer and a purpose-led brand, we have been in the forefront of creating thought-provoking campaigns towards educating our citizens and creating awareness on mental health,” announced Chief Marketing Officer, Ruchika Verma Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited (FGII).
Future Generali India Insurance
Our frontline staff has taken on the responsibility of protecting public health for the past two years, putting their own health and safety at risk. We hope to use this donation to provide proper physical health protection for BMC employees as well as raise mental health awareness. If the epidemic has taught us anything, it is the importance of showing empathy and supporting those who live in the ecosystems around us.”
