Hero Motocorp and Indian Deaf Cricket Association partner for Social Cause
Hero MotoCorp Ltd., the largest motorbike and scooter manufacturer in the world, has partnered with the Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA). As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative “Khelo Hero” under the umbrella platform “Hero We Care,” the Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IDCA here today in the presence of the players and senior officials, reaffirming its long-term support to the specially-abled team for a social cause.
The IDCA team will receive the necessary training tools as part of the partnership from Hero MotoCorp, one of the biggest corporate sports promoters in the world, in preparation for the upcoming Deaf International Cricket Council (DICC) T20 Champions Trophy 2022, which will be held in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, between October 1 and 9, as well as the National Championships, which will take place later this year. In order to get the team ready for the international competition, Hero MotoCorp is also funding a training camp that will take place between September 16 and September 29.
