Hero MotoCorp presents retro-fitted Destini 125
Hero MotoCorp – The Hero Destini 125 motorbikes were presented to Indian Army personnel who were injured in the line of duty by Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest maker of motorcycles and scooters. To honour the remarkable tenacity and drive of Indian Army veterans, these retro-fitted gearless scooters were handed over to the soldiers under the aegis of the headquarters Delhi area.
Two auxiliary wheels have been added to the back of these Destini 125 scooters, which have been altered to provide a safe and comfortable riding experience. Gujarat, Delhi-NCR, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Bihar, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, and Kerala have all received these customized scooters from Hero MotoCorp.
Hero We Care, the company’s premier CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) platform, was used to display these customised automobiles. Hero MotoCorp has made a huge contribution to making the world a greener, safer, and more equitable place. It has been promoting environmental protection, instilling road safety principles, and empowering young girls, women, people with disabilities, and the impoverished.
“We are honoured and happy to join with the Directorate of Indian Army Veterans in this great cause,” stated Bharatendu Kabi, Head – CSR and Corporate Communication, Hero MotoCorp. We are pleased to be able to provide mobility help to these Heroes as part of our CSR platform “Hero WeCare.” More than 100 such retrofitted Destini scooters have already been sent to soldiers in various states around the country.”
