Hero MotoCorp selects ASDC certified automotive technicians
Hero MotoCorp – Atalji Skill Development Institute, an affiliate training facility of the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC), and Swarna Bharath Trust (SBT), a CSR initiative, recently held their certification ceremony and placement drive in Hyderabad and Vijayawada.
22 out of 23 applicants in Vijayawada and all 10 applicants in Hyderabad were given the chance to be placed.
These certification and placement ceremonies are a reflection of Hero MotoCorp’s commitment to closing the skills gap in the industry and supporting the Skill India Mission as well as the skill development programme.

The project’s goal is to provide underprivileged school and college dropout youngsters with vocational training, short-term training as two-wheeler technicians or supervisors, and assistance in securing subsequent meaningful work as two-wheeler technicians or supervisors.
“These certified students make me extremely pleased, and I have no doubt that they will have a great footprint in the automotive business,” said Arindam Lahiri, CEO of ASDC. We look forward to collaborating with HMCL to provide career prospects for people working in this sector.
