JBCPL Community Outreach Program to benefit lakhs of people
JBCPL intends to reach out to at least 2.5 lakh individuals with its recent programme, which will make a significant difference in their lives, as part of its JBCPL ongoing Community Outreach Program. J.B. Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Limited has teamed with Akshay Chaitanya, a Hare Krishna Movement-affiliated NGO, to provide free lunch for the caretakers of patients in hospitals. JBCPL will supply 700 meals each day in four Mumbai hospitals, including JJ, Nair, KEM, and Bombay Hospital, as part of this project. A huge communal kitchen has been established as part of this project, which provides free meals to caregivers of patients in civic hospitals.
The flagship Community Development programmes of JBCPL are chosen to address society’s most pressing concerns in sectors such as Education, Healthcare, Nutrition, Infrastructure, and Community Development. These programmes are designed to empower local communities and have a long-term impact on society. The company is also dedicated to collaborating with the communities it serves to develop accessible solutions.
We pledge to make a long-term commitment in these families in order to make a significant difference and relieve some of their financial burden.”
“It becomes tough for a family to care for an unwell family member while also bearing the cost of treatment and associated logistics,” said Nikhil Chopra, Global CEO, JB Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals.

“We hope to make a promise to improve India’s food security in the coming years through similar community service initiatives,” he added.
JBCPL believes that food security is essential for community stability as well as individual health, well-being, and economic development. Individuals and families that were food insecure prior to the COVID-19 outbreak who visit these facilities now face an even more difficult situation. JB Chemicals will have a deeper and more substantial influence on combating hunger for caregivers by improving relationships and boosting investments in such projects.
