JK Organization registered for the humanitarian cause
New Delhi (CSR for India): JK Organization – The prestigious industrial company held “Blood Donation Camps” throughout its many plants and offices to commemorate the 89th birthday of Late Shri Hari Shankar Singhania, a former president of the JK Organization.
Blood donation drives were specifically arranged on this day in honor of the late Shri Hari Shankar Singhania, who was always eager to do more for the community despite the group’s involvement in a variety of social initiatives.
A recipient of the “Padma Bhushan” award, Late Shri Hari Shankar Singhania actively contributed to the expansion and unification of the JK Organization by founding a number of new businesses, as well as buying and integrating a number of businesses both domestically and overseas.
More than 5500 JK Organization employees registered for the charitable campaign and showed up to assist the blood drive through their participation. Before donating, all of the donors underwent blood pressure, hemoglobin, weight, and other tests in camps run by the JK Organization. A certificate of appreciation for each donor’s gift was delivered.

On the auspicious occasion of the late Shri Hari Shankar Singhania’s birth anniversary, the JKO Group enterprises have organized a blood drive as a way to ensure the health of a greater population in need of life-saving blood.
