JSP Foundation provides houses to families

ANGUL: JSP Foundation, the CSR division of Jindal Steel & Power (JSP), launched “Project Aashiana” today in an effort to further its vision of inclusive development by helping the underprivileged and homeless build homes for their families.

The project’s launch was part of a hybrid event that took place in Angul, Raigarh, Barbil, Tensa, Bhubaneswar, and New Delhi, according to JSP Foundation Chairperson Smt. Shallu Jindal. But other people are unable to construct their own homes due to financial hardship. Therefore, the JSP Foundation is helping more than 500 families from economically disadvantaged regions create their dream homes as part of its ongoing effort to improve people’s quality of life.

529 families from 13 Indian states in all have been chosen to receive financial aid as part of this project. During the occasion, they received letters of confirmation for financial grants. Based on the Foundation’s evaluation, the chosen families under Project Aashiana will get financial support up to Rs. 250,000 for the construction of their home and essential amenities including bathrooms, drinking water, and electrification.
