Kia donates medicines to cath lab

In keeping with its commitment to CSR, Kia India provided supplies for the recently inaugurated cardiac catheterization lab at the Super Specialty Block of the Government General Hospital in Anantapur.

According to Cardiology Department Head Subhash Chandra Bose, they would be used in procedures including angiograms, angioplasty, stenting, as well as in urgent situations.

The cardiac cath lab was formally opened on Tuesday in the presence of Kia India Chief Administrative Officer Kabdong Lee, Legal HoD Yonggil Ma, District Collector Nagalakshmi Selvarajan, and Anantapur Government Medical College Principal Myreddy Neeraja, despite the fact that it has been in operation for more than a month.

Anantha Venkatarami Reddy, an MLA for Anantapur Urban, claimed that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had given the go-ahead for the Mother and Child Block of the GGH in Anantapur, which will be of tremendous assistance to the patients.

According to Mr. Kabdong Lee, “Our goal is to make sure the new cath lab has all it needs to support the neighbourhood residents. And it was made possible by working with the Government Medical College & Hospital, which provided reliable services throughout the pandemic. Our company’s philosophy is “Leave a positive footprint while helping the community as much as we can.”
