Marriott International celebrates green efforts

Marriott International hotels planted 22,222 trees across forty locations to honor World Earth Day and to take a step towards sustainability and environmental consciousness. This is a continuing commitment to the company’s sustainability aims through Marriott International’s Serve 360, a social impact platform that promotes “Doing Good in Every Direction.”

Associates and visitors were part in this plantation drive. Hotel personnel implemented innovative efforts to engage guests in planting saplings, a satisfying activity that brought everyone closer to nature and underlined the need for everyone to contribute to developing a greener, more sustainable future.
