During the fifth edition of The CSR Journal Excellence Awards, the Chief Minister addressed an audience of over 250 people, including senior bureaucrats, public representatives, social activists, youth leaders, artists, members of India Inc., and deserving students who represented the future of India. The subject for our awards this year, as it has been every year since they began, was “India First,” with a focus on youth empowerment.
The Chief Minister remarked, speaking to the crowd, “Any form of social effort should be done from the heart. Finding those who require assistance and support is important. By providing assistance and support to those who need it most, the corporate companies present today are doing a tremendous job. If you experience their suffering, you can only relate to it. I want to congratulate everyone who won this evening for their outstanding social work. Choosing the winners is a major duty that falls on the jury members as well. Those who earned the award now have a greater duty because you will now spur on more individuals to step out and carry out good deeds.y As our “Guest of Honor,” Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, the Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, and Women & Child Development, Government of Maharashtra, enlightened and motivated the young people in attendance.

At the CSR Journal Excellence Awards, Editor-in-Chief Mr. Amit Upadhyay stated, “We at The CSR Journal do not define CSR merely as Corporate Social Responsibility. This is due to CSR, also known as citizen social responsibility, playing a significant role, especially in India. Without the people’s support and participation, India cannot reach the degree of development we want it to.
The important event was presented by RJ Rangeeli Ruchi, a favourite in Mumbai, who captivated the audience with her distinct presentational manner. Sumit Saini, a well-known Sufi singer and the 2019 winner of The Voice, gave a moving performance for the occasion, and Chirag Panjwani, a well-known stand-up comedian, made the audience laugh with his humour and sarcasm.
CSR was made mandatory in India in 2014, and since then, there has been a tremendous amount of room for human development. The CSR Journal Excellence Awards were organized in order to recognize India Inc.’s accomplishments in CSR.
