NLC India Ltd organized Medical Camp at Tenkuthu Panchayat Union Middle School

As part of its CSR programme, NLC India Ltd held a Free Medical Camp at Tenkuthu Panchayat Union Middle School in Tamilnadu on January 22, 2023, benefiting the Tenkuthu Panchayat and surrounding areas.

Social responsibility: Every year, NLC India Hospital offers free medical clinics in the villages and surrounding areas of Neyveli as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. According to protocol, NLC India Limited held a Free Medical Camp at Tenkuthu Panchayat Union Middle School on January 22, 2023.

In Tamil Nadu’s Cuddalore District, Shri. Jasper Rose I. S., Executive Director/SME, Conveyor, Mine-III & Land, officially opened the camp at Tenkuthu Panchayat Union Middle School. Specialist doctors, nurses, and pharmacists from the general medicine, paediatrics, gynaecology, ophthalmology, dentistry, ENT, dermatology, orthopaedics, and ayurveda departments of NLC India Ltd participated in the medical camp and provided care to those in the surrounding communities.

The findings of blood testing were used to determine the best course of treatment. Free medical supplies and equipment, including 2 hearing aids, 9 wheelchairs, 14 tripods, and 10 walkers, were given out to the disadvantaged population. The Tenkuthu Panchayat Union Middle School has also received first aid kits from NLC India Limited as well as a cutting-edge water filter named “Water Doctor.”

Participants: There were 936 persons in total serviced by this camp, including 283 men, 482 women, and 171 kids. Mrs. Rani, the HM of Panchayat Union Middle School, Shri. Vaidhyanathan, the President of Thenkuthu, Shri. Kannusamy, the Ward Counselor, and others attended the camp. Shri. P. Sathiamoorthy, Chief General Manager of Human Resources and Hospital Administration, Dr. Vivekanandan, Chief General Manager of the Land Department.
