NTPC Korba to promote archery
NTPC Korba CSR is holding a talent search camp to promote archery as part of corporate social responsibility. This camp will be held for one week each in four different locations in the Korba district as part of the archery talent search.
About 100 secondary and high school boys and girls participated in the first camp, which was held from December 15 to December 21, 2022, at Gau Mukhi Sevadham in the distant Vananchal village of Devpahari, where they got instruction to hone their abilities in this traditional sport.
Mr. Bharat Yadav, a national gold medallist in archery who has received a national honour, gave advice by explaining the intricacies of the sport during the aforementioned archery camp.

The top performers were given medals at the camp’s concluding ceremony on December 21, 2022. On this occasion, NTPC Korba’s Chief General Manager, Mr. PM Jena, stated that the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility includes fostering youth talent and skill development. We are attempting to empower talented excellent athletes through this talent search camp. We hope that more players will be able to attend this camp and benefit from it. In order to promote archery, NTPC Limited has also entered into a corporate partnership with the Archery Association of India. It is a good idea that Korba is encouraging archery throughout the district.
