o9 funds – o9 Solutions, a leading enterprise AI software platform supplier for revolutionising planning and decision-making, today announced the highlights of its CSR efforts accomplished in FY22-23. o9’s CSR focus areas in India include quality education, sustainable communities, industry innovation and infrastructure, healthcare, sports, environment and biodiversity, disaster relief, and others.
o9 is striving to improve the sanitation and hygiene of the women of the Sathyamangalam community, and it has also supported a menstrual health project in which women from the same tribal community are educated to produce low-cost sanitary pads.
o9 will work with the Read India team to connect them with marketplaces and aid them in marketing the product in and around the villages. The female students at the school will receive complimentary sanitary pads. This would improve the overall state of cleanliness among women in the community. Several awareness programmes are scheduled to be undertaken by resource persons and o9 personnel to raise the awareness level of girls and women in the neighbourhood.

Another important CSR programme is ‘Sports for Life,’ in which o9 promotes football to safeguard the well-rounded development of impoverished children who are at risk. It teamed with The Freedom Project India (TFPI) to give technical training to these children through personalised coaching and residential training programmes. These targeted football study and practise sessions help children master some important skills and instill discipline in their life.
Furthermore, o9 has made purposeful CSR activities in the Sathyamangalam tribal community of Coimbatore. In conjunction with India Cares Foundation and Read India, o9 supported the delivery of educational kits to 200 neighbourhood youngsters.
o9 has formed a strategic partnership with the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) to ensure that female students receive a higher quality education. As part of their CSR initiative, o9 gave B. Tech curriculum books to 15 women engineering institutes in Telangana. Furthermore, o9 financed the complete refurbishment and donation of equipment for the Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Biology labs at the Centre of Excellence, a girls’ school in Hyderabad. This initiative has provided over 600 girls with access to fully equipped and advanced science labs.
Because employee involvement is in the organization’s DNA, o9 exploits its people’s passion by giving mentorship opportunities in conjunction with the Foundation for Excellence. Under this project, o9ers advise B. Tech students on soft skills such as problem-solving mindset, communication skills, time management, presentation skills, fundamental technical skills, and other corporate skills, which will increase their preparedness for job interviews.
