Plan India hosted its 4th National Conference
Plan India – Plan India organised its 4th National Conference at New Delhi with the theme of ” Plan For Every Child’ – Build Back Better with Girls’ on 7th & 8th December 2021.
The conference will have conversations on the consequence of girls during pandemics. The conference will also comprise many eminent people from different grounds like Press, Federal judges, Political leaders, Civil society organizations, experts, and others to communicate the advancement of girls post-pandemic by procuring their health care and education. The two days program will also showcase the discussion on the different obstacles girls have to encounter in rural and vulnerable areas for a permit to schooling, healthcare, and mothers too.
The COVID-19 pandemic has posed numerous hurdles and hampered the speed of development and transformation that the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao movement had been achieving. Government, public society, and corporations must work together to advance education, nutrition, health, and safety nets for all girls and women. More than 30 distinguished speakers and professionals will discuss and debate the approach to girl-centered community development in the post-COVID era at the Plan for Every Child Conference. They’d concentrate on solutions and safety nets for millions of girls, children, and women, with the goal of enabling them to study, lead, make decisions, and prosper.” Mentioned, Mr. Mohammed Asif, Executive Director Plan India.
Since 2016, Plan India has successfully organized the ‘Plan for Every Child (P4EC) National Conference’ in alliance with the Ministries of Women and Child Development and Social Justice and Empowerment of the Government of India. These national conferences brought together a wide range of viewpoints on prevention, system strengthening, child protection, and gender equality, as well as recommendations on priorities and opportunities for advancing girls’ rights.
The inaugurated session was endeavored by Sriram Haridass, Representative India and Country Director, Bhutan a.i., United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Dr. Dnyaneshwar Manohar Mulay, Member, National Human Rights (NHRC), Major General Manoj Kumar Bindal, Executive Director, National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) and Ms. Rathi Vinay Jha, President, Plan India Governing Board and Former Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
