SBI honors disabled employees on International Day of persons with disabilities
International Day of persons with disabilities – The International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) was observed at the State Bank Bhavan in Mumbai on December 3, 2022, with the goal of promoting the rights and wellbeing of persons with disabilities and honouring their contribution as a member of the SBI Team.
On this occasion, a gathering and felicitation event for the Divyangjan coworkers was conducted. “Transformative solutions for inclusive development, the role of innovation in fostering an accessible and equitable world” was the topic of this year’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities (2022). In its 17 circles, the bank observed a PAN India celebration of IDPD on this day.

More than 25 Divyangjan employees from the Corporate Center facility in Mumbai attended the event and were welcomed and honored by the CGM (HR), CGM (Contact Center Operations), GM (M&C), and other senior dignitaries. In his welcome speech, CGM (HR) lavishly praised the Divyangjan Staff’s attitude of extraordinary fortitude and tenacity for overcoming their obstacles and triumphing over hardship. Deputy Manager Mrs. Mamta Namdev Tambe received recognition for her outstanding services to the Bank and the Society.
