The Shikhar Dhawan Foundation donates ration kits to slums
After a fire last week destroyed over 200 shanties in a slum cluster in Gurgaon’s sector 49’s Ghasola village, more than 200 families were left without a place to live. The Shikhar Dhawan Foundation provided disaster relief aid in the form of ration and rehabilitation kits to more than 200 victim families in an effort to help them recover.
The Shikhar Dhawan Foundation was established with the goal of eradicating social problems that are fundamental to our society, such as hunger, poverty, education, and many more. The main goal of Shikhar Dhawan and his team in doing this excellent project is to return to society some of the tremendous love and adoration that he has earned from all throughout the nation. Through teamwork, this zealous non-profit organization hopes to plant the seeds of prosperity and happiness all throughout the world.

The Shikhar Dhawan Foundation’s Dr. Kanika Dewan said, “The SDF task force were engaged to align, access, & distribute the relief at Ghasola Village in this severe weather. The foundation’s major goal is to gradually eradicate societal concerns and assist those in need. We wanted to contribute in our own way, and the Disaster Relief Drive we launched in 2023 was made possible thanks to this admirable cause. In reaction to this fire outbreak, the drive was started right away. A need evaluation was done, and the right supplies were obtained for the displaced families’ immediate rehabilitation. The Foundation is always prepared to assist with such crises and causes.
“The Relief in the shape of Food, Clothes, and more depending on the need of the hour have been delivered under numerous efforts & undertakings by SDF up to now,” said Mr. Amitesh Shah, Group CEO of DA-ONE (An Initiative of Shikhar Dhawan). Our goal is to ensure that no one goes to bed hungry in this weather when the temperature is sinking to 2 degrees since the fire outbreak in the Ghasola slums is a tragedy that should never happen to another person. We are collaborating to bring about change while keeping the wellbeing of our nation in mind.
The ration kits bought included enough food to last each family for several months. Until their shanties are rebuilt and they can resume their normal lives, we made sure that the impacted population had access to enough supplies.
