SIDBI partnered with Vijaybhoomi University for Skill to Enterprise Module [STEM]
Skill to Enterprise Module – Under its “Mission Swavalamban” programme, the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) has teamed with Vijaybhoomi University to encourage entrepreneurial education for skilled youths interested in pursuing entrepreneurship as a preferred career choice. SIDBI has agreed to train and mentor young people who want to start their own business. Vijaybhoomi University will create a curated course to assist and advise aspiring entrepreneurs in learning the fundamentals of entrepreneurship.
On May 11, 2022, the MoU was signed at SIDBI’s office at SWAVALAMBAN BHAVAN, Mumbai. While SIDBI will facilitate the arrangement with its experience in entrepreneurship promotion, credit connections, and links to the Enterprise Ecosystem, Vijaybhoomi University will provide a customised entrepreneurship course to skilled and aspiring youths to help them start businesses in line with market demand. Vijaybhoomi University will also provide youth with guidance and coaching as they develop and manage their businesses.

This well-structured project will boost the entrepreneurial culture. We believe that by participating in such a concentrated course, a skilled person who wishes to be an entrepreneur will gain practical expertise in starting a business. The project will also aim to link engaged youth to markets and boost the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.”
