ICPA Health Products Ltd (ICPA), India’s leading Pharma Company in the oral healthcare segment, has made a significant contribution to cancer care in the Bharuch district as part of its CSR activity by donating a state-of-the-art sonography machine to the J.B. Mody Cancer Centre at Jayaben Modi Charitable Hospital in Ankleshwar.

This donation will benefit the district’s first cancer radiation and chemotherapy center, which was recently opened by Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel. The machine’s powerful imaging technology supports medical practitioners in planning interventions, guiding surgeries, and measuring therapy effectiveness, making it a crucial tool in modern cancer treatment. The contribution of the sonography machine by the ICPA emphasizes the importance of such technology in advancing cancer care and improving patient outcomes.

ICPA’s state-of-the-art production facility is located in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, and is headquartered in Mumbai.

“We are dedicated to making a significant contribution to improving healthcare outcomes in the communities we serve.” The sonography equipment provides non-invasive imaging advice for minimally invasive operations while assuring patient safety and comfort. We hope that the donation will help cancer sufferers gain access to critical diagnostic services in their community. This initiative is consistent with ICPA’s aim of making great healthcare accessible and cheap to everybody,” says Mr Rohit Mehta, Founder and Managing Director.

Previously, people from Ankleshwar and the surrounding areas had little alternative but to go to larger cities such as Vadodara, Surat, or Ahmedabad to receive necessary cancer treatment and surgery. Recognizing this unmet need, Smt. Jayaben Mody Hospital took the initiative to develop the J.B. Mody Cancer Centre, which provides oncology patients with local access to critical cancer therapies such as OPD services, surgeries, and chemotherapy.

The charitable initiatives of the ICPA have had a tremendous impact on healthcare and education. The corporation has generously donated advanced medical equipment to KEM Hospital, which will improve patient care across departments while also providing medical assistance to the impoverished in Ankleshwar. ICPA has also worked tirelessly for community welfare through various initiatives such as the implementation of skill development programs for the regional community, the provision of computers to marginalized children in order to provide them with basic IT knowledge and skills, and the implementation of water-harvesting projects to provide clean water in local schools, among others.
