STEM for Kids Workshop by Play Learn Foundation
STEM for Kids Workshop – The Play Learn Foundation, in collaboration with AI School of India and Robotix India | USA, held a STEM learning CSR workshop for the impoverished students of Chennai Higher Secondary School. The three-day programme was place at Alwarpet Circle Library in Chennai from April 25th to 27th, 2022. Tamilnadu is a state in India.
Students in grades 5 through 10 took part in this interactive session in which they made science models with their hands and learnt about STEM topics.
At the conclusion of the session, Mr V Arun, Manager – CSR of the Muthoot Group, presented certificates and awards to the students in a special valedictory celebration. Mr. Arun stated in his talk to students that science is prevalent in our daily lives and that gaining a fundamental understanding of science aids us in handling our daily tasks.
Mr. Jatin Sharma, Business Head, AI World School, lectured about how our mind possesses all of the power and technology, and that tinkering with our little brain allows us to dream large and solve problems in our environment. Every one of us has a scientist within us; all we have to do is feed him knowledge and curiosity, and he will awaken and perform feats far beyond our wildest dreams.
STEM for Kids Workshop
In recent years, the Tamil Nadu government has placed a greater emphasis on improving students’ technical skills and employability. The Tamil Nadu government has taken steps to stimulate the use of technology and prepare students for the workforce by building smart classrooms, computer coding labs, robotics labs, and hosting state-level hackathon events.
STEM learning workshops, according to Mr. Ramana Prasad, chairman of AI School of India and Robotix India | USA, establish the groundwork for new ideas, creativity, and innovation.. He also thanked Play Learn Foundation for allowing AI School of India to hold STEM workshops for underprivileged students at Chennai Higher Secondary School.
