T Harish Rao Health Minister, lauds CSR for improving healthcare system
T Harish Rao Health Minister – On Wednesday, Health Minister T Harish Rao praised the initiative, saying that during the height of the pandemic, Telangana increased its healthcare capacity by approximately 1,300 beds, the majority of which were equipped with ICUs, thanks to CSR contributions.
The Minister was addressing the Kondapur District Hospital’s opening of a 100-bed Raheja group facility. The arrangement will let the hospital treat both Covid and non-Covid patients. He announced that 900 more ICU beds will be compelled accessible for `154 crore across the State.
The minister said that “Due to the high demand, Raheja Corp stepped up at a time when finding even one bed in government hospitals was challenging. Now, thanks to the state and CSR contributions, government hospitals have 27,000 beds and 6,000 paediatric beds to deal with any third wave.”
