Tata Motors Delivers Vaccine Van to Support Govt’s Vaccine Drive
Tata Motors Delivers Vaccine Van – Tata Motors, India’s leading automobile company, announced the delivery of two Tata Winger Vaccine Vans to the Indian Red Cross Society to support the government’s COVID vaccination drive, raise awareness, and increase coverage in rural pockets of Udham Singh Nagar District, as part of its commitment to improving the wellbeing of the communities in which it operates.
In the presence of Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Yugal Kishor Pant District Magistrate Udham Singh Nagar, Tata Motors Pantnagar Plant Head, Anal Vijay Singh, Tata Motors Plant Team including Union General Secretary and the Chairman of Indian Red Cross Society – Uttarakhand, the Winger vaccination van was flagged off in an event at Khatima on December 29, 2021.
The Tata Motors Vaccine Van is based on the Tata Winger’s adaptable platform and is adapted to allow for seamless immunization in remote regions, as well as additional safety features and medical instruments. The Indian Red Cross Society, the District Immunization Office (DIO), and clinicians from the Government Health Department will collaborate on the ground.
