Tata Steel Meramandali and Angul Police conduct Cyber Security Awareness

An awareness-raising event on cyber security was organized by Tata Steel Meramandali (TSM) and the Angul Police. The main focus of the discussion was on the methods that fraudsters employ to commit cybercrime, including social media fraud, UPI fraud, online banking transactions, etc. It also highlighted how to avoid falling victim to an internet scam.

Around 200 people participated in the workshop, which was hosted at the G4 complex in Meramandali for security professionals and vendor partner staff. Angul and his team, Sourabh Samal, Sagar Sahu, Aswinikanta Sahu, Naresh Sahu, IIC, Banarpal Police Station, and Manash Kumar, IIC, Cyber Crime and Economic Offence Wing, led the session. Mukesh Kathait, Senior Manager Security of Tata Steel Meramandali, is one example.
