Tech Mahindra, a major provider of digital transformation, consultancy, and business re-engineering services and solutions, announced today the implementation of green transportation on its Noida campus. The green transportation effort intends to support Tech Mahindra’s zero-carbon footprint target by improving fuel economy and lowering harmful emissions.
As part of the effort, Tech Mahindra has deployed electric vehicles that will make five journeys every day, covering a radius of 250 green kilometers per day and saving up to 13,500 litres of gasoline per month, preventing greenhouse gas emissions. The initiative’s monthly carbon sequestration will be equivalent to the carbon sequestration of 5,241 tree seedlings grown for 10 years, demonstrating the significant impact of Tech Mahindra’s environmental push.
