Tree plantation setup of nutrition garden drive
Nutrition garden drive – LUCKNOW: On Sunday, The Times of India Press in Chinhat hosted a “Trees for the Future: Food Forest Plantation Drive.” The department of horticulture and food processing in Lucknow as well as India Pesticides Limited backed the effort (IPL). There were planted more than 100 fruit trees, including lemon, custard apple, sahjan, imli, amla, bael, guava, kathal, and papaya.
The Food Forest Initiative is a component of the Ehsaas Food Bank Project, according to Shachi Singh, the organization’s creator. The Food Bank is a system of assistance that guarantees access to food while empowering individuals via possibilities for education, health, and livelihood.
The establishment of nutrition gardens and food forests in numerous locations throughout the city will assure food security for the underprivileged and marginalized groups.
