National – 24th Jul, 2023 – Trident Group, a vertically integrated textiles (Yarn, Bath & Bed Linen) and Paper (Wheat Straw-based) manufacturer and one of the largest players in the Home Textiles space initiated a drive which promises to serve its sustainability agenda. Over 10,000 saplings with 40-50 variety of species are being planted to create an organic mini forest around its manufacturing facility in Dhaula. This initiative promises to be free of any chemicals or harmful pesticide thereby becoming a testament to the company’s commitment towards environment preservation and sustainable practices. The company has already planted and nurtures over ten lakh tress across different locations in India.
In this display of botanical diversity, this drive will showcase the planting of around 40-50 varieties of saplings. Members from Punjab Pollution Control Board were present during the drive adding value to the ceremony. During their address, the PPCB officers commended Trident Limited’s proactive approach and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in combating environmental challenges. They also emphasized that this event would serve as an inspiration for other organizations to prioritize environmental conservation.
